Rick was like a brother to me - I have so many fond memories of him dating back from the 1950’s, when we were both living and growing up together in Great Yarmouth.  
In later life we would share holidays, meals, jokes, and a bottle or two of red and would often discuss politics, religion and philosophy. Rick was unpretentious and an honest man, who was true to his socialist beliefs.  Both myself, and Linda were delighted to be witnesses to the marriage of Rick and Donna, followed by chips on Great Yarmouth market.
I have lost a dear cousin and friend - Rick will forever be in my thoughts.
